Kaye IRTD (Intelligent Resistant Temperature Device)
The Kaye IRTD (Intelligent Resistant Temperature Device) is a highly accurate, traceable temperature standard designed for thermal validation and sensor calibration. Unlike conventional reference probes, the Kaye IRTD combines a precision platinum RTD sensor with integrated electronics, allowing calibration data and temperature conversion to be managed within the probe itself for exceptional measurement accuracy and simplified calibration workflows.
Operating across an ultra-wide temperature range from -196°C to +420°C, the Kaye IRTD communicates directly with Kaye validation systems, automatically calculating sensor offsets during calibration while eliminating many of the common sources of measurement error associated with conventional reference probes.
